Thanks to all the participants last night in our fun run! We had 15 brave racers that came out to compete for all the wonderful prizes! We hit some immediate snags when all my waypoints that I had carefully crafted and entered into my Rat Race Tracker mod became a moot point, since LEVEL 1's can't join a RAID!!!! Argh! However we persevered with some quick plan changes and a lot of help from Phaun and Taisaku as waypoint observers.
With 15 new Taurens all dolled up in their red racing shirts, we got many a question and a whole lot of looks! Our brave racers endured many deaths en route from their starting location in Mulgore through many hazardous areas across the Barrens and Durotar. The route from Phaun's sexy elf dance at the "heart on" depression southwest of Sludgefen to the West Org entrance was littered with many a sad tauren corpse.
There were many lead changes, and it ended with a very close finish betweem Cataspawner (Naturalone) and Cathodray (Arothand). Cataspawner had the bigger horns though and just edged out Cathodray for the big win.
After the big finish, the now level 2 Taurens proceeded to duel out front of Orgrimaar... at least the ones that still had weapons on.

Second Prize - 3000g - Cathodray/Arothand
Third Prize - 1500g - Cattleclism/Reggon
Best cata-themed newbie char name - [Dun Morogh Cub] - Lumidown/Lagunel
Fewest deaths - [Teldrassil Sproutling] - Cathodray/Arothand
Most Deaths - [Elwynn Lamb] - 15+ and probably still trying to get through the Sludgefen ... - Meatplow/Vectra

Forget to take the items but she went down easily on 3rd try.
